"Love Serving Autism is very excited to partner with the American Tennis Association (ATA) whose mission is to be the leading diverse adult tennis organization that harnesses the power of tennis to promote the education, health and wellness of under-served youth and to create the next generation of tennis heroes and community leaders. 1 in 59 children are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the US. Evidence demonstrates that although diagnosis rates for autism occur at the same rates in all racial groups, African American children's diagnoses are confirmed later in life. African American children are 2.4 times more likely to receive a misdiagnosis of conduct disorder. Children and adults with autism benefit from participating in tennis activities.
