Budget Bathroom Remodeling

Making your home into a place that fits your personality is something that everyone can agree is worth that work and money. But, what if you don’t have the money?

There are two easy ways to update your bathroom for less than $1000.

Less is More
Instead of re-doing the ENTIRE bathroom, consider focusing on smaller less expensive projects. The tub is going to be pretty expensive to replace, but the sink or toilet will be a cheaper option. To save even more money, do not replace your vanity, but instead paint, or stain, or add something creative like new drawer handles. You don’t need to replace your sink either; you can put in a new faucet to freshen up the look. Bathrooms are small, so if you want to replace the flooring or add in an accent wall with tiles, it will not run up your budget.

DIY!
Doing it your self will save you TONS of money. Without having to pay someone else for time and labor, you can do it in your spare time. Overwhelming? Relax! It may seem like you wouldn’t know where to start, but brush up your knowledge by watching some tutorials on YouTube, or reading books like “How to for Dummies”, and you will feel much more confident in your remodeling skills. You can put the money you save, which will be about half you budget, towards all the supplies you will need. Anything you don’t feel you can accomplish yourself, cross it off your list. You can achieve an amazing bathroom without spending tons of money on contractors to install flooring.
